As we grow up much of our behavior is influenced by our environment, events and significant people who we are surrounded with in our childhood. As children, our brain operates at the theta brainwave state, which is very receptive to experiences and can, therefore, be profoundly impacted by them.
During these developmental years, much of our understanding of how we see ourselves was shaped, how we ‘should be’ and what we ‘should do’ in order to feel accepted and loved. Our later experiences of life have reinforced these beliefs even more so, deeply embedding them in the subconscious as a way of being. The immature aspects of us as a child are then taken forward into adulthood at an unconscious level as we spend much of our lives operating from the perspective we once had as a child.
Feelings of abandonment, childish petulance, rejection, resentment and self-destructive tendencies from childhood can profoundly impact our relationship with ourselves and others as adults.
This guided meditation will help you mend those aspects of you that feel ‘broken’ as we learn to re-discover our connecting with our inner-child and fill our inner essence with loving and affirming words.
Join us for a journey where you foray into yourself, clearing away cobwebs from the past that hold you back from enjoying every moment in the now.
