Meditation – One Word, Many Interpretations. Meditation over time has been understood and practiced in various forms. To some it is a worship or prayer, to others it is sitting and clearing the mind of all thoughts etc.
We aim to shed light through practicing Meditation as a state of awareness or mindfulness.
Whatever one does with awareness is Meditation, be it watching your breath, listening to a bird sing, working on a project or studying for success.
It is not an exercise but when practiced becomes a way of life.
It enables one to free the mind of scattered thoughts and limiting thought patterns.
Studies have shown that teaching kids mindfulness practices can build attentiveness, respect for peers, self-control, and empathy, while reducing stress, hyperactive behavior, ADHD symptoms and depression.
