In our busy lives, our minds are constantly in a state of flux, and chatter where we can easily surrender our power to what happens around us relinquishing control of the way we think, feel and react to a situation. Fluctuations of the mind occur because we are too closely involved in our external circumstances.
This constant chatter in our mind can be likened to lots of monkeys screeching, clambering over each other, competing for attention. We can’t banish these monkeys, but we can learn to tame them, and learn to question them objectively.
In this mediation we will explore the nature of the untamed mind and work towards cultivating an inner space of stillness and clarity to help us see and respond to our external environment from a place of calm focus.
Relax your mind, through breath work meditation and carry with you the joy of a balanced mind, regardless of what happens around you.
– Keeping a busy external life by creating strong calm inside life – power of meditation

About the Facilitator – Annie Roydhouse
I studied Psychology and Neuroscience, which indulged my curiosity of the mind and thoughts. Later, I studied Buddhist philosophy to learn how to tame the mind but as a desk bound city dweller I found it hard to put all my learnings into practice amongst all the bright lights, distractions and delusions.
Yoga connected me to my true self, a place of nurturing self-love, and a place of calm no matter where you are and what is around you. You can completely rely on yourself to cultivate your own calm and happiness, and I look forward to helping you find your brightest most authentic light.
