About this Workshop:

This workshop is based on and incorporates the meditations and core themes taught in the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD. MBSR is being taught around the world and has been scientifically shown to be an effective compliment to a wide variety of medical and psychological conditions including anxiety, chronic pain, hyper tension, stress, sleep disorders.

About the Teacher:

dr.katerineKaterine LeMay, PhD, CPsych.(CAN) is a clinical psychologist at the MapleTree Center DMCC. She has been practicing mindfulness meditation since the early 1990’s. She maintains regular meditation practice by sitting daily and attending silent retreats. In recent years she has been receiving training from the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society (USA) founded by Jon Kabat Zinn, PhD.
