Connecting with your Kids – Talk

Connecting with our kids is the key to healthy Parenting. A Connection is not just being physically present around your kids but being also emotionally present in every facet of their lives. It is putting yourself into the right place and situations where you experience close to what your child experiences, imagining what it’s like to be them and hence creating a connection that is enjoyable for both of you and in the end you both appreciate being grateful for being in each other’s presence.

It is the most important skill we can bring to our parenting because it forms the foundation for every interaction we have with our children—now and throughout their entire lives.

In this session, we will discuss various ways in which you can connect with your children and maintain a healthy relationship with them. When you connect with your children, it gives them the message that they matter, that they are important, that they are loved, that they are worth your time… and therefore a simple connection and the feelings associated with the same increases a child’s self-esteem.
