As a child we were not able to fully understand and process negative experiences and so we carry the pain of the experience into our adult lives. We then often project them onto others or attract them to ourselves and then wonder why we have difficult situations and people show up in our lives. To heal the inner child is to release the trapped unprocessed emotions to change what’s happening in your life.
