Getting Started with Mindfulness Meditation!
The things that you don’t particularly like doing but can’t seem to stop are patterns that have power over you and your personality. Awareness allows you to break this pattern. Once you are conscious of the repetitive behaviors, you are then armed with the courage to deal with them head-on.
Practicing mindfulness brings your attention from a state of “thinking” into the present moment. Thinking can sometimes be a detrimental pattern and often leads to useless or random thoughts. The more we can bring ourselves back from this state of thinking into the present moment, the more the process of self-awareness accelerates. Mindfulness meditation spawns relaxation and contentment in all those who practice it with regularity.
